'Wartime situation': Rare tornado ravages French village

A rare tornado that swept through the Aude department in southern France devastated the tiny village of Pomas, the mayor said Tuesday, destroying homes, the town hall and local school, and leaving residents feeling like they are living through "a wartime situation".
