Ethiopian Gobena and Kenya’s Jepchirchir take Sydney marathon honours

Gobena clocked 2:04:42 to set a new course record and the fastest marathon time on Australian soil, while Olympic champion Peres Jepchirchir won her fourth marathon major in Sydney.
