The priest allegedly told the woman that she was possessed by evil spirits and required a specific ritual to be cured.

The accused priest told the victim that she was possessed by evil spirits and needed a specific religious ceremony to heal her, police said.  

The accused was called by the family from New York to perform a religious ceremony in Ontario's Oshawa.
